Overview We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, ensuring smooth daily operations at the front desk. Your energetic approach and organizational skills will help create a positive environment while managing administrative tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities Patient Reception & Communication Greet patients warmly and professionally as they arrive Check in patients using Epic (EHR) systems Verify insurance information and collect copayments Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate staff members Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar Manage patient wait times and communicate delays to patients Administrative Tasks Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of demographic information Process patient intake forms and verify completeness File documents and organize medical records Update contact information for patients Generate reports on patient flow, wait times, or scheduling metrics Handle correspondence including letters, faxes, and email communications Clinical Support Prepare examination rooms for patient visits Assist clinical staff with patient flow and room assignments Distribute patient education materials Communicate test results or appointment reminders to patients (under supervision) Coordinate referrals to specialists or other healthcare facilities General Office Operations Maintain a• clean, organized reception area• Order office supplies as needed Follow HIPAA protocols to protect patient privacy Adhere to office policies and procedures Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing

Pay:
$17.00 - $22.45 per hour
