Job Description

Receptionist Kevertin Pet Resort is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable receptionist to join our team. Our receptionists are the first point of contact for our clients and play a huge role in creating a positive experience for both people and their pets. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys customer service, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable balancing phones, computers, clients, and dogs all while staying calm and organized.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting clients and their dogs with a welcoming attitude Answering phones and responding to emails Scheduling boarding and grooming reservations Checking pets in and out accurately Processing payments and creating invoices Maintaining accurate client and pet records Communicating with kennel staff, groomers, management, and veterinarians Keeping the reception area clean and organized Safely handling dogs in the lobby when needed We're looking for someone who: Has excellent customer service and communication skills Is comfortable using computers and learning new software Can multitask while maintaining attention to detail Stays calm under pressure during busy check-in and check-out times Is comfortable around dogs of all sizes Is dependable and organized Schedule This position offers 16-32 hours per week , depending on availability and business needs. Reception hours include mornings and afternoons. Many of our receptionist shifts are split shifts, typically 7:00 AM-12:00 PM and 3:00 PM-6:00 PM on the same day. While the ability to work split shifts is highly desirable, we understand they aren't possible for everyone and encourage qualified applicants to apply regardless. Applicants should also be available to work some weekend shifts, which may include Saturdays from 7:00 AM-11:00 AM and/or Sundays from 3:00 PM-6:00 PM . Requirements Ability to lift at least 40 pounds Ability to safely handle dogs of all breeds and sizes Comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout the day Reliable transportation and strong attendance Previous customer service, receptionist, veterinary, kennel, or animal care experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person.
