Full Job Description Medical Office Specialist Position Summary:
As a Medical Office Specialist, you will manage the administrative functions of our concierge-style medical practice, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional patient service. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be essential in supporting the healthcare team and enhancing the member experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, answering phone calls, and managing inquiries efficiently. Handle patient registration, insurance verification, enrolling members, and membership management processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Coordinate referrals and follow up on patient communications to facilitate continuity of care. Assist in scheduling appointments and managing the office calendar to optimize workflow.

Medical terminology and office operations. Familiarity with EMR systems and office software. Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance.
