Full Job Description Summary:
The Receptionist is responsible for professionally greeting visitors and guests, creating a positive first impression of Switchback Medical by maintaining a presence at the front desk. The Receptionist also assists the organization as needed to ensure efficient operation of the business; supports front-of-the house operations; facilitates organizational events and meetings; and assists the sales team with administrative duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but are not limited to): Admits, greets and directs visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Sorts and distribute incoming mail and deliveries. Carries out light administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning, etc. Coordinates and organizes events including lunch meetings, holiday parties, and customer visits. Upholds company standard for clean and safe work environment for common areas of the facility. Maintains lunchroom and conference room supplies inventory by checking stock to assess inventory level, anticipating needs and placing timely orders to ensure adequate stock. Assists Sales team with order entry and responding to customer-initiated inquiries. Performs other general office duties as needed.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent Excellent and professional communication skills Previous experience in a customer or public-facing role, preferably as a receptionist or administrative assistant Proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong problem-solving skills Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy environment Ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed byemployees assigned to this position.
