To support this mission and our growing workplace, we are hiring a Welcome Desk Receptionist to provide day-to-day support that ensures a welcoming, organized, and smoothly running office environment. This is a six-month temporary role, ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and being the friendly first point of contact for employees and visitors. Job Responsibilities Welcome Desk Operations Create a positive and welcoming first impression for employees, tenants, guests, and visitors. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized reception and lobby area as well as conference rooms. Communication Management Greet and announces guests and visitors. Follows security procedures for checking guests and visitors in and out of KTI's office. Arrange escorts as needed. Ensure visitor logs are maintained consistently and accurately. Building Coordination Perform start-of-day 'opening' duties and organization in accordance with assigned schedule Perform end-of-day 'closing' duties and organization in accordance with assigned schedule Receive small deliveries and packages for building tenants. Assist in preparing and resetting conference rooms, including room setup, supplies, and basic technology readiness Submit maintenance requests as needed. Meeting/Office Operations Assist in coordinating food ordering and catering for meetings, trainings, and office events Support restocking supplies and maintaining shared spaces Assist with internal events, meetings, and occasional employee engagement activities as needed Provide administrative support to the Human Resource team as needed Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Professional, friendly demeanor with a service-oriented mindset Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with basic office tools (email, calendars, Microsoft Office) Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Prior experience in an office, customer service, hospitality, or administrative role Interest in workplace culture, operations, or human resources What's it like at King Technology?
