Description Job Summary This is a weekend only position. Receptions is responsible for welcoming visitors at the front door, answering and directing incoming phone calls, and taking care of gift shop customers and purchases. Responsibilities and Duties Receptionist is responsible to the Prioress and Sister Wilmarie. Greet and Welcome visitors who come to the Monastery and Gift Shop. Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed. Answer questions about gift shop products, operate software, wrap and bag merchandise, handle cash or credit card transactions. Give tours of the chapel as requested Give youth tours Qualifications and Skills Proficient written and verbal communication skills Must be able to walk, stand, and listen for long periods of time Professional Appearance Highschool graduate Money handling skills, use of credit card reader and computer experience preferred Courteous, Friendly, positive attitude, good with people Ability to maintain confidentiality Must be good with Children Occasional office work, sorting, filing, mailing Other duties assigned by supervisor Hours 8am to 4pm with a half an hour unpaid lunch E04JI800ehk74099m6z
