GED Full Job Description Position Summary:

Greet and register patients as they arrive for appointments

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Verify insurance coverage & eligibility Schedule patient appointments Check-in & check-out patient Collect copayment and balances Greet patients & parents Keep waiting rooms clean and organized, monitor TV channels Make appointment reminder calls Update demographic & insurance information in accounts as needed Maintain cash drawers prepare daily deposits when needed Scan patient forms into charts

CRITICAL SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

Must be able to multi-task. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Must have excellent organizational skills.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Equivalent of High School Diploma with 2 years related experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Some background working with the public. Some experience with EPIC.
