We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to be the first point of contact for customers and vendors at Larson Equipment Company & VL Classics. This position has opened up for us due to our Front Desk Associate being internally promoted. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, bring familiarity with our industries, and have strong communication skills to ensure smooth front desk operations.
Responsibilities:
Greet and direct customers and vendors as they enter the showroom. Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls to the appropriate employee. Maintain the front entrance area in a professional and organized manner. Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and other deliveries. Monitor common areas for cleanliness. Ensure that office supplies, cleaning supplies, and communal kitchen items are stocked and accessible as needed. Assist with customer check-out transactions as needed. Support Admin and Accounting staff by sorting, scanning, and filing documents for easy access Maintain credit card transactions for reconciliation. Other administrative related tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; related coursework or certifications are a plus. Previous experience in a support or customer service position preferred. Proficiency in Google and Microsoft (especially Excel) software applications, along with competent computer & typing skills. Strong multitasking and time management abilities. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Understanding of physical filing systems. Willingness to learn new software systems for admin and sales support. Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and attachments is a plus. Knowledge of classic cars is a plus.
Compensation, Benefits, and Hours:
Full-Time - 40 hours per week: Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00-5:00. Compensation will be between $15.00 - $18.50 per hour, depending on experience.
