Job Description
Position Purpose This position provides general reception and screening services for employees, patients, vendors, visitors, volunteers, and anyone else that enters the facility. Required Qualifications The Concierge Screener must possess: ❖ A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent. ❖ Exhibit excellent customer service skills as well as demonstrate dependability professionalism and strict confidentiality. ❖ Ability to work independently and as a team player, while maintaining a positive, service oriented attitude is a must. ❖ Ability to problem solve. ❖ Ability to communicate with people at all levels. • Strong Telephone Etiquette a must. Major Duties and Responsibilities Maintains confidentiality of information and privacy compliance. Screens all employees, patients, vendors, visitors, volunteers, and anyone else that enters facility to evaluate whether there has been an exposure to covid or has symptoms. Distribute masks to those individuals that do not have a mask on when entering the facility. Provide everyone that is screened with external label to indicate that screening has occurred. Manages visitor restrictions per the visitation policy. Directs patients and visitors to waiting or registration area as indicated. Maintains screening supplies. Ensures that adequate supplies are available for the next screening shift. Provides periodic sanitation of screening spaces and lobby/waiting areas. Personal Skills and Traits Desired/Physical Requirements/Working Conditions ❖ Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. ❖ Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work. ❖ Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. ❖ Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public. ❖ Must have patience, tact, and willingness to deal with difficult residents, family and staff. ❖ Must not pose a threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace. ❖ Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday. ❖ Meets general health requirements according to facility policy, including medical and physical exams and checking immunity status to various infectious diseases. ❖ Ability to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary. ❖ Ability to assist in evacuation of residents during emergency situations. ❖ Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to exercise judgement. ❖ Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations. ❖ Resourcefulness. ❖ Maintain a positive attitude and possess the ability to work in stressful situations. ❖ Ability to be organized and efficient.
