Join Our Team as a Weekend Receptionist at Our Pet Resort! Are you passionate about pets and enjoy providing excellent customer service? If so, we'd love to meet you! Our pet resort specializes in dog and cat boarding, dog daycare, and grooming services. We're looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Weekend Receptionist to be the warm and welcoming face of our business. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your love for animals with your organizational and communication skills! What You'll Be Doing As our Weekend Receptionist, you'll play a key role in ensuring our clients and their furry friends have an exceptional experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Accurately communicating our pet resort amenities and policies to customers. Assisting customers in creating their accounts and maintaining clear, grammatically correct communication. Answering phones respectfully and cheerfully, providing helpful and courteous support. Checking pets into the resort, ensuring all details like diet, medications, and belongings are recorded properly. Checking pets out of the resort, verifying invoices for accuracy. Collecting and recording vaccination records from owners or veterinarians. Performing weekly inventory checks of all office equipment. Delivering and retrieving pets into and out of kennels for arrivals and departures when needed. Collaborating with kennel staff to create pet report cards. Keeping the lobby clean, organized, and welcoming for all visitors. What We're Looking For We're seeking a candidate who brings a combination of professionalism, enthusiasm, and a love for animals. Here's what you'll need to succeed in this role:
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a pet-related or service-oriented environment.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Personality:
Friendly, approachable, and able to remain calm under pressure.
Physical Requirements:
