Job Description

Job Overview This is a floating medical front desk position. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing front desk operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical environment. Must be willing to travel to Edgewater, Wayne, Clifton, West Orange, and Edison. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the medical facility. Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, checking in patients, and processing patient information. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. Utilize computerized systems to manage patient data and appointment scheduling effectively. Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Assist with medical administrative support tasks as needed, including filing documents and managing correspondence. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless office management and patient flow. Process Medicare and other insurance claims accurately, ensuring proper documentation is maintained. Requirements Two year previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within a medical setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of medical records management and familiarity with medical terminology, particularly dental terminology. Proficiency in using computerized systems for scheduling and record keeping. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient service. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment. Strong organizational skills with experience in medical office preferred. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Willing to travel to our different office locations. Edgewater, Wayne, Clifton, West Orange and Edison, N.J. One Saturday a month only Half day.
