Dental Front Desk / Patient Coordinator Private Dental Practice - Morganville, NJ We are a friendly, growing private dental office looking for the right person to join our front desk team. For us, personality and office culture are extremely important . We are looking for someone who is friendly, easy-going, dependable, and enjoys working with both patients and coworkers. Dental experience is helpful, but we are also willing to train the right person who is motivated to learn. We want someone who can help create a welcoming experience for our patients while also keeping the day-to-day operations of the front desk running smoothly. Responsibilities Answering incoming phone calls in a friendly and professional manner Scheduling and confirming patient appointments Helping maintain a productive, full schedule Communicating with patients regarding treatment and appointments Collecting payments and patient balances Sending statements and following up on outstanding balances Working with dental insurance companies regarding benefits, claims, and payments Helping patients understand their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities Coordinating with the clinical team to keep the office running efficiently Providing excellent customer service and making patients feel comfortable and welcome Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Friendly and personable Easy-going and pleasant to work with Reliable and responsible Organized and able to multitask Comfortable speaking with patients on the phone and in person Willing to learn new systems and skills Comfortable discussing payments and collecting balances A team player who wants to contribute to a positive office environment Able to stay calm and friendly even when the office gets busy Previous dental front desk experience is a plus, particularly experience with scheduling, dental insurance, billing, or practice-management software, but attitude, personality, and willingness to learn are just as important to us as experience.
