Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our optometry practice. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, take payments, learn and manage the ledger in our electronic medical records, provide exceptional customer service, and submit claims to insurance. Your energy and professionalism will set the tone for visitors and clients alike, creating a positive first impression while supporting daily office functions. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Greet patients with enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment Manage the phones, online messages, and office emails Schedule appointments Put charges in the ledger and take payments Pull and submit insurance Provide customer support through effective communication, phone etiquette, and client communication strategies Requirements Computer literacy in electronic medical records Familiarity with professional phone communication practices Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively Previous experience as a front desk or medical receptionist is preferred but not required Demonstrated customer service excellence with friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Join our team to be the friendly face that keeps our office running smoothly!
