In this dynamic role, you will be the first friendly face clients see and the expert responsible for providing top-quality grooming and bathing services to our beloved pets. Your positive energy and attention to detail will ensure every dog leaves looking and feeling their best, while your communication skills foster trusting relationships with pet owners. Responsibilities Greet pet owners warmly, schedule appointments, and manage the reception area efficiently Perform dog bathing, pet coat styling, grooming, nail trimming, and other animal care services with precision and care Safely handle dogs during grooming sessions and dog pack play groups, using animal restraint and management techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff Maintain cleanliness of grooming and kennel stations and ensure all equipment and facility is cleaned and sanitized. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding pet care routines, grooming needs, playgroup behavior and special instructions Assist with kennel management, including animal handling during check-in/out and overseeing pet watching duties when needed Support staff by understanding basic veterinary procedures or assisting with whatever tasks required in a fast paced environment that's dependent on common sense and quick decisions for pet safety and comfort. Skills Proven experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or pet coat styling with attention to detail Knowledge of animal handling techniques, including animal restraint and safe lifting practices Familiarity with veterinary experience or veterinary technician/assistant background is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners Ability to perform pet nail trimming, animal care tasks, and heavy lifting safely and efficiently Experience with kennel management or pet sitting enhances your suitability for this role Excellent group dog handling skills This energetic role invites passionate individuals eager to make a positive impact on pets' lives while delivering outstanding service to their owners.
