Job Description
Receptionist Join our team and help deliver exceptional patient care every day. We are seeking a professional, patient-focused Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our practice. In this role, you will manage patient check-in and check-out processes while providing outstanding customer service that makes every patient feel welcome and valued. Your work will help ensure patients continue to choose our practice for high-quality healthcare. Essential Skills & Qualifications Computer proficiency, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word preferred Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Strong multitasking and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Empathetic and compassionate approach to patient needs and concerns Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment Consistent demonstration of respect toward patients and colleagues Commitment to delivering outstanding patient service Key Responsibilities Greet all patients and visitors in a warm, professional, and courteous manner Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently Monitor the reception area and proactively communicate with patients as needed Prepare and distribute copies of documents for providers Collect appropriate payments at check-in or check-out and assist with past-due balances Thank patients by name and offer additional assistance when appropriate Review patient charts to confirm all required information, documentation, and signatures are complete Verify insurance eligibility and obtain referrals when necessary
