Job Description
Overview We are seeking to fill a Front Desk Receptionist position at our family practice, JA Dental Care. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Receptionist experience is preferred Newcomers are encouraged to apply! We are willing to train the right candidate. Duties Greet all patients when they arrive in the waiting room Answer all phone calls and emails, and take messages if needed. Scheduling, canceling and confirming dental appointments Perform basic accounting tasks such as taking patient payments and preparing billing statements Update patient insurance information Sending patient claims to insurance companies Scanning medical/dental documents into patients electronic charts Sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail
