Job Description

Front Office Coordinator Optimal Family Chiropractic Edmond, OK Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits Paid training Paid holidays Paid time off Qualifications Customer relationship building Phone communication Greeting customers Guest rapport building Office phone management Full Job Description How 'bout we skip right to the center of the tootsie pop? We're a small chiropractic office in Edmond. We're biased, but we think we're one of the best places to work in town.
Our mission is simple:
help people become the best versions of themselves without pain holding them back from what their life requires of them. You'd be the first voice patients hear and the first face they see. Few jobs here matter more. Read the whole posting, because the instructions on how to apply at the bottom are part of the interview. The honest stuff first This is a front desk role, not a quiet desk job. You'll be "on" all day, talking, smiling, and solving problems, even when the office is slow. We run on systems. You'll learn several software platforms and be expected to own them, not just follow them. Your personal phone stays in your car during the workday. You must be available for the full schedule, every week. If any of that made you wince, this one isn't for you, and that's okay. The good stuff A four-day work week. Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am-6:30 pm, with a 1 hour 15 minute lunch. When the last patient leaves, you can go home, and some days that's a little early and rarely it's a little later. Fridays are yours. Pay that grows. $20/hr to start, $21/hr after your 90-day review, plus monthly bonuses tied to practice goals and your performance. Time off. Paid time off and paid holidays. Investment in you. Paid training and expense-paid seminars. Team fun. Every few months we do something fun or goofy as a team, like bowling, escape rooms, or Top Golf. Real responsibility. You'll make decisions a big corporate office would never trust you with. What you'll do Greet every patient by name and make them feel like the only person in the building Run patient flow so Dr. Wilson stays on time and no patient feels rushed or forgotten Communicate with patients in person and by phone, text, and email Manage patient schedules: booking, rebooking, and filling gaps Collect payments confidently and accurately Prepare the office for care by cleaning, printing reports, and keeping it patient-ready Track our stats across multiple software systems Keep the whole team organized as the hub of the office Cover other front office duties when a teammate is out Who thrives here You start conversations with strangers easily and actually enjoy it Your energy at 4:30 pm with an empty lobby matches your energy at 9:00 am with a full schedule You're warm and confident talking about money and scheduling, with no awkwardness You notice what's broken and fix it, or bring a solution, instead of waiting to be told You learn from a mistake quickly People leave a conversation with you feeling better than when they started You're reliable. When you're on the schedule, you're here. No healthcare experience needed. We'll train you on the systems. We can't train energy, attitude, or ownership. What success looks like By day 90, you'll run every front office system on your own. No one will need to look over your shoulder, and you'll know exactly where to start every morning. How to apply (this is step one of the interview) Apply on Indeed and answer the screening questions. Call 405-367-6492 and leave a voicemail under 60 seconds with your name, why you want this job, and the best experience you've ever had with a front desk or customer service person. Applicants who skip step 2 won't be considered. You'd be answering our phone, so we want to hear how you sound on one. Learn more about us at ofcok.com. We can't wait to meet you! Optimal Family Chiropractic is an equal opportunity employer.
