Job Description:
As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and will represent Ankeny Hill Resort with professionalism and warmth. This role includes answering phone calls and emails, assisting clients in person, scheduling reservations for lodging, daycare, and grooming, and addressing client questions or concerns with empathy and efficiency. You will also help promote our services and ensure every guest has an outstanding experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Computer proficiency, previous customer service or administrative experience is required. Experience and knowledge in the animal care industry is preferred. Must be available weekends and major holidays. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, remain on their feet for extended periods, safely handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments, and work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Employees must also be willing to be cross-trained and assist in other departments as business needs require. Pay:
$16.00 - $21.00 per hour
