Job Description
Description Our client located in downtown Pittsburgh is looking for a receptionist for a contract opportunity for around 1 month. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, including an unpaid 1-hour lunch break. The position offers a pay rate of $18-$20 an hour based off of experience. Job responsibilities would include ordering food, phones, conference rooms, scheduling communications.
- Answering firm telephone and greeting guests.
- Maintaining firm conference room calendar and assist in preparing and setting up conference rooms for internal meetings, conferences, and events.
- Entering time and submitting expenses for various attorneys and administrators.
- General secretarial duties, including drafting, copying, faxing, scanning and filing of incoming and outgoing correspondence and documents.
- Providing administrative support as needed including preparing correspondence, redacting documents, and preparing spreadsheets.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail in all work.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of management, staff and clients.
- Forward thinking, punctual, organized, and a team player with customer service skills.
- Ability to independently solve problems and exercise sound judgment with minimal direction.
- Professional office experience a plus. Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work consistently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a detail-focused approach to working with clients, staff, and leadership.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated customer service mindset and a dependable, team-oriented work style.
- Ability to work independently, use sound judgment, and resolve routine issues with minimal supervision.
- Prior office or receptionist experience is preferred.
- Experience handling inbound calls and operating a multi-line phone system is a plus.
