Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and guiding them through check-in procedures Schedule appointments efficiently using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, or eClinicalWorks Verify patient insurance details and assist with medical billing and collections, including Medicare and health insurance claims processing Manage electronic health records (EHR) with accuracy, ensuring proper documentation review and compliance with HIPAA regulations Handle phone communications professionally, answering inquiries, confirming appointments, and directing calls appropriately Maintain medical records filing systems, ensuring confidentiality and easy retrieval of patient information Support clinical staff by reviewing care plans, updating patient information, and assisting with administrative tasks like CPT coding and ICD coding Requirements Proven experience in a medical office or clinical setting, preferably in a front desk or medical receptionist role Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth or similar platforms Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation review, and medical coding including
