Job Summary Sumter East Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist - Full-time to join our team in a full-time capacity, offering same-day pay to ensure prompt compensation for your valuable contributions. This role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for clients and visitors while efficiently managing front desk operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in office management tools. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the first point of contact, ensuring smooth administrative workflows and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet visitors and clients warmly, providing a positive first impression Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy Handle incoming calls with proper phone etiquette and direct calls appropriately Maintain organized files, records, and documentation through effective filing systems Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office applications, including Word processing and spreadsheets Schedule appointments and manage calendars using Google Workspace or similar tools Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, QuickBooks data entry, and client billing Support office management activities including supply inventory and maintenance coordination Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally Proofread correspondence and documents to ensure clarity and accuracy Manage client communication efficiently, fostering positive relationships Qualifications Proven office management or administrative experience in a professional setting Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Prior experience working at a front desk or reception area preferred Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette standards Experience with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, proofreading, and calendar management Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is advantageous Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and responsibly Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry Join our team today if you are motivated by delivering outstanding service, thrive in a dynamic environment, and are eager to contribute your office management expertise.
