$15.50-$17.00 per hour, based on experience Position Summary The Front Desk Clerk is the first point of contact for players, parents, coaches, and visitors. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming experience while ensuring daily front desk operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, family-oriented sports environment. Essential Responsibilities Greet and assist players, parents, coaches, and guests. Check teams and players in for leagues, practices, camps, and tournaments. Process registrations, memberships, and program enrollments. Answer phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries. Operate the point-of-sale system and process cash, credit card, and digital payments. Sell concessions, merchandise, and facility services. Maintain accurate customer records and schedules. Help keep the lobby, front desk, and common areas clean and organized. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Communicate facility policies and ensure guests follow safety guidelines. Resolve customer concerns professionally or escalate issues to management when necessary. Support facility events and tournaments as needed. Perform other duties assigned by management. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled). Excellent customer service and communication skills. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Dependable with strong attention to detail. Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Preferred Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, recreation, or sports facilities. Experience handling cash and operating a POS system. Knowledge or interest in soccer or youth sports.
