Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with medical collections and office management is a plus. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing them with necessary information and assistance. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Handle medical collections and ensure accurate billing procedures are followed. Maintain patient records by reviewing documentation and ensuring all information is up-to-date. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Assist with office management tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining a clean reception area. Communicate effectively with medical staff to coordinate patient care and services. Requirements Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Familiarity with medical terminology and office management practices is advantageous. Proficiency in using electronic health record system Athenahealth is desired. Ability to perform documentation review accurately and efficiently. Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with patients from various backgrounds. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
