Himmel's is a growing organization with locations in New Orleans, Prairieville and Houston, Dallas, and Nashville. We pride ourselves as the door opening experts, not simply a construction material supplier. Our family owned and operated company is seeking a Receptionist to join our team at our Mt. Juliet, TN. location. The Receptionist position is the first impression that potential clients, customers and visitors have with Himmel's, both in person and over the telephone. Job Responsibilities Answer incoming calls. Transfer calls to appropriate personnel, take detailed messages, and follow up with an email. Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) duties, including data entry and routing invoices for processing. Process order acknowledgements for specified business units. Scan and save vendor packing slips into appropriate folders. Assist with AR duties, including payments. Scan mailed invoices and forward them to designated team members. Greet visitors professionally and ensure they are directed appropriately and timely. Monitor the front desk and maintain a clean, organized reception area. Serve as the central contact for internal and external inquiries. Collaborate with business unit departments to facilitate smooth operations. Maintain office supplies. Onboarding when needed, setting up new employee phones/phone extensions and/or computers. Support Business Unit Manager wherever needed. Exhibit professionalism and uphold company standards. This position is full-time, non-exempt, and reports to the Business Unit Manager. Previous experience as a receptionist or in an administrative support role preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word). Experience handling multi-line phone systems is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Customer service orientation and professional demeanor. Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy. Able to work closely and communicate effectively with others.
