Job Description

Veterinary receptionist needed. Applicant MUST be outgoing and friendly. Must also be very detail-oriented, have exceptional organizational skills, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency. You must be able to multitask. We get very busy and there are numerous times throughout the day when there are people waiting to be helped in the lobby and phone lines on hold. Position includes maintaining patient records, checking clients in and out, answering phones, scanning/faxing, educating clients on veterinary medications and procedures, cleaning, and helping out wherever needed. The most successful candidates in this position have a passion for teaching and talking to people. Applicant must acknowledge and make friendly eye contact with each person who enters the front doors in a pleasant, respectful and professional manner. Must be able to work Tuesday through Saturday.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Personality:
You should only apply if you are friendly, outgoing, and understand the importance of clearly communicating with clients and colleagues. We work closely as a team and try to foster a positive work culture; if you can maintain a positive attitude while working hard and multi-tasking , this may be a good fit for you.
Salary:
This will depend on experience and credentials; on average, a starting salary is $14-$16 per hour and may be negotiable for the right candidate.
