Job Overview:
Local Barber Co. is looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our barbershop in Frisco. You'll greet clients, manage appointments, handle payments, and help keep the shop clean and running smoothly.Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Front Desk Duties:
Greet clients with a warm and professional attitude Optimize schedule bookings Check in/out clients and process payments using our POS system Answer phone calls, respond to messages, and manage online bookings Keep the front desk and waiting area clean, organized, and stocked Promote additional services when calendar permits, retail products, current specials, rebookings and Google reviews when appropriateOpening Duties:
Arrive early to unlock the shop and prep for the day (towels) Turn on lights, music, and set up the front desk and POS system Confirm and prep for the day's first appointments Ensure the shop is clean and guest-readyClosing Duties:
Check out final clients and close the POS system/Cash Register Clean and organize the front area, sanitize surfaces Turn off lights/music, secure the shop, and activate alarm Communicate daily totals and any issues to theShop Manager Other Responsibilities:
Basic daily and weekly cleaning tasks Support inventory tracking and restocking of front desk items Contribute to a positive, team-oriented shop environmentQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Friendly, professional attitude and strong communication skills Basic computer/POS and customer service experience preferred Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a busy setting Flexible availability, including weekends Must be available weekdays and weekends as neededSchedule:
Part-time available to work the following shifts: Mon 9:30am to 3pm Tue 9:30am to 3pm Wed 9:30am to 3pm Friday 9:30am to 3pm Saturday 2pm to 7pm If you are passionate about providing excellent customer service and possess the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply.Job Type:
