This role is vital in providing exceptional client service and supporting the veterinary staff in delivering high-quality care. The ideal candidate will possess strong animal handling skills, veterinary terminology knowledge, and experience with pet care and animal restraint. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment committed to animal well-being and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets warmly, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-in, and check-out procedures efficiently Handle medical collections and process payments accurately Maintain detailed and organized patient records in compliance with veterinary protocols Support veterinary staff with animal restraint during examinations or procedures Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care instructions and follow-up appointments Ensure the cleanliness and organization of reception area and exam rooms Experience Candidates should have prior experience or familiarity with the following skills: Medical collection procedures and laboratory experience Kennel experience and animal husbandry knowledge Animal anatomy knowledge and pet grooming skills Dog handling, animal restraint, and general animal handling expertise Veterinary terminology understanding for effective communication within the team Experience with pet care routines such as feeding, grooming, training, and general animal care practices Applicants should demonstrate excellent communication skills, compassion for animals, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. Prior veterinary experience or related animal care background is highly valued for this role.
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
