Translator / Cashier / Customer Service Associate (Clothing Alterations)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Translator / Cashier / Customer Service Associate to join our clothing alterations team. This role involves assisting customers with their alteration needs, taking accurate body measurements, operating the cash register, and serving as a translator between customers and the seamstress. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, personable, and able to communicate effectively in both English and Vietnamese.

Duties:

Translate between English-speaking customers and a Vietnamese-speaking seamstress Clearly communicate customer requests to the seamstress and relay feedback Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service Accurately measure customers for clothing alterations (hemming, resizing, etc.); will receive on-site training Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts Answer customer questions regarding services, pricing, and turnaround times

Qualifications:

Bilingual in English and Vietnamese ( required ) Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail, especially when taking measurements Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Pay:

$10.00 - $12.00 per hour
