Job Description
Texas Pickle Hall is a 12-court indoor pickleball facility in Live Oak with a full bar, scratch kitchen, and a packed calendar of leagues, open play, tournaments, corporate events, and private parties. We're built around one idea: every guest who walks through the door should leave planning their next visit. The front desk is the first face and the last face of that experience. If you like people, move fast, and take pride in running a tight ship, this is your seat. What You'll Do Greet every guest and member by name when you can, and make the first 30 seconds count Check members and guests in, assign courts, and keep the reservation board accurate in real time Sell and explain memberships, open play passes, clinics, and league sign-ups Answer phones, emails, and texts — book reservations, take party inquiries, and route them correctly Run point-of-sale transactions, open and close register drawers, and keep cash handling clean Keep the lobby, pro shop, and entry areas clean, stocked, and presentable Handle paddle and equipment rentals and light retail sales Communicate court changes, delays, and VIP arrivals to floor and event staff Solve small guest problems on the spot and escalate the big ones fast What You Bring Required 18 years or older Dependable attendance and reliable transportation Comfortable with tablets, POS systems, and online booking software Clear, friendly written and verbal communication Availability on evenings and weekends — that's when we're busiest Ability to stay organized and pleasant when the lobby is full Preferred Prior front desk, retail, hospitality, gym, or recreation experience Familiarity with pickleball, tennis, or other racquet sports Bilingual English/Spanish Physical Requirements Stand and walk for the majority of a shift, up to 8 hours Lift and carry up to 25 lbs Work in an active indoor facility with elevated noise levels
