Job Description

Sunshine Terrace Foundation is seeking a part time Receptionist . Job Summary:
The receptionist provides customer support to residents & families, and assists in office operations at the Sunshine Terrace Skilled Nursing Facility. Essential Duties, Responsibilities, & Requirements include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Greets guests, families, and visitors Answers and directs phone calls Assembles information packets about the facility and services provided Sorts mail Assists with correspondence Supports administrative projects Maintains balance of resident trust funds Upholds patient and company confidentiality at all times Follows all organizational policy and procedures at all times Requires excellent interpersonal communication skills Requires basic experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Previous receptionist experience preferred Marginal Requirements Schedules care conferences with residents and families Provides tours of the facility to prospective residents and families on a back up basis Performs various other duties Schedule Typically works three four hour shifts per work week. Rotating Weekend hours are required. Rotating holiday coverage is required. Education Position requires high school diploma or equivalent Experience This position requires a minimum of six months previous customer service experience. Language Skills Ability to read and speak English with people over the phone and in person. Ability to write routine correspondence.
