Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and answering questions about services and pet care. Schedule appointments, process payments, and maintain accurate records of client interactions. Assist with kennel duties including feeding, cleaning, administering medications, and monitoring animals' health and behavior. Handle animal handling tasks such as dog restraint, grooming, and basic training to ensure safe interactions. Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and reception space to uphold health standards. Provide compassionate pet care by observing animals' behavior, reporting concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout their stay. Experience Previous experience working with animals in a veterinary clinic, kennel, or pet grooming setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal handling skills are valuable assets. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for animal handling or equipment setup. Familiarity with pet care routines including feeding, grooming, pet sitting, and basic veterinary assistance is advantageous.
