What You'll Do As a Legal Receptionist, you'll be the first impression of our firm by: Answer incoming calls on a multi-line telephone system promptly and professionally, providing a positive first impression of the firm. Maintain professionalism, patience, and good judgment when handling high call volumes, upset callers, or sensitive situations. Identify the purpose of each call and accurately route callers to the appropriate employee, attorney, team, or department in a timely manner. Take clear, accurate, and complete messages when the appropriate team member is unavailable and ensure messages are delivered promptly. Greet clients, potential clients, vendors and other visitors warmly and professionally and notify the appropriate team member of their arrival. Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional reception and client-facing area. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others while using their customer service skills to make a meaningful impact. We're Looking for Someone Who Is An exceptional communicator Naturally empathetic and a great listener Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Dependable and understands the importance of being present and ready to provide consistent front-desk coverage Experienced in customer service, reception/front-desk work and handling multi-line or high-volume telephone system Personal injury experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person with the right attitude.
