Job Description
Job Overview:
Join our veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist where you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets. This role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations within the clinic.Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Collect and process payments for services rendered
- Maintain accurate records of patient information in the system
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry
- Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and staff
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a veterinary setting is preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and ability to learn veterinary software quickly
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for working with animals and their owners
Desired Skills:
- Kennel experience
- Veterinary assistant background
- Dog training knowledge
- Familiarity with veterinary critical care
- Pet grooming expertise
