Job Description
We are an outpatient Physical Therapy clinic in Uptown Gig Harbor looking for an outgoing and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a friendly and easy going individual that has a patient-oriented approach and is looking for a part time employment position. Responsibilities Include (but not limited to): Patient Coordination Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately Input patient information into accounts correctly and completely Schedule onto correct schedules and communicate correct times Answer phones on multiple phone lines and ask appropriate follow up questions Correctly and proficiently answer patient questions in person and over the phone Fill out patient paperwork prior to appointment and schedule needed tests for the correct body part Call patients to check in early for updates or new patients Send and log faxes to doctors' offices Insurance and Billing Insure numbers and information are correct on insurance portion of patient intake and chart Perform insurance eligibility and verification Take phone payments and accurately input into the computer system Have familiarity with billing systems such as invoice section and self-payments Office Efficiency Complete opening and closing duties Check voicemail and emails Change and start laundry, put away/clean dishes Communicate with therapists when patients have arrived Relay messages to and from patients Clean tables and therapy equipment when transitioning patients Assist therapists with patients as needed
