Job Description

Receptionist A receptionist at Brain Balance is the welcoming face and first point of contact for families, staff, and visitors at Brain Balance. This role is responsible for creating a warm, professional, and efficient front desk experience while supporting the center's daily operations through administrative and customer service tasks. It is preferred that our Receptionists are also trained as Behavior Cognitive Coaches so that they can jump in and help out as needed.
Receptionist Core Duties And Responsibilities:
Customer Service Greet all families, children, and visitors in a warm and friendly manner Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries or direct them to appropriate team members Schedule appointments, consultations, and re-evaluations accurately in the center calendar Ensure the reception and waiting area are clean, organized, and child-friendly at all times Communicate important updates, schedule changes, or program information to families Collaborate with coaches and administrative staff to ensure seamless operations and communication Administrative Tasks Assist in maintaining up-to-date records and documentation in the center's database Coordinate and prepare materials for sessions, workshops, or events as needed Process payments and maintain accurate logs of financial transactions Perform light administrative duties, including data entry, filing, printing, and inventory checks Individualized Coaching and Programming Implementation (secondary role) Implement the Brain Balance program, which includes activities designed to improve cognitive functions such as attention, processing speed, memory, and emotional regulation. Guide clients through exercises that address specific brain imbalances, such as sensory motor exercises, coordination tasks, and cognitive exercises. Personalize sessions to ensure that activities are appropriate for the client's interests, developmental age, and learning capacity. Hours Full-time 12-8pm
