Employment Opportunity! Occupancy Specialist/Administrative Assistant The Housing Authority of the City of Menomonie is seeking an Occupancy Specialist/Administrative Assistant. The Occupancy Specialist/Administrative Assistant will perform functions including, but not limited to: Greet the public, by phone or in person, answering basic questions about programs and referring questions requiring more in-depth discussion with program staff, send applications and maintaining records of application requests. Complete copying as assigned by office staff. Maintain a supply of locally produced forms and brochures. Qualifying potential tenants. Certifications and recertifications of tenants. Showing units for Public Housing. Handling lease ups/paperwork. This position deals with federal regulations, calculating tenant rents and providing detailed documentation of operations and assistance with policy creation and maintenance. Learning and applying local and national program rules, regulations, policies and updates. Collecting, interpreting, and calculating necessary data for income, assets, deductions, and determining eligibility. Enforce the conditions of the lease and the Housing Authority rules and regulations. Perform housing inspections. Office cleaning as needed and other duties as assigned.
