Job Description
Receptionist / Print Finishing Assistant We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and easygoing Receptionist / Print Finishing Assistant to join our printing and engraving company. Personality matters a lot in this position. We're a small team and value a relaxed, positive, and respectful work environment. We're looking for someone who is pleasant to be around, works well with others, and doesn't bring unnecessary drama or negativity into the workplace. You'll also be working directly with customers, so being comfortable with different personalities is important. Some customers may be frustrated, particular, or simply having a bad day. We need someone who can handle those situations calmly, professionally, and without taking things personally. This position is a mix of customer service, office work, and hands-on print finishing. Previous receptionist, customer service, or printing experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person. Job Duties Greet customers and assist with printing and engraving orders Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally Listen to customer needs and help find solutions Contact customers when orders are ready for pickup Complete print finishing tasks such as stapling, folding, cutting, and book binding Enter information into Excel and other office software Ensure items are properly invoiced and paid Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming work area and lobby Provide general support to customers, visitors, and the team Assist customers with ideas and options when needed Learn and operate office and printing equipment What We're Looking For Friendly, easygoing personality Someone who is pleasant, respectful, and easy to work with Comfortable working with a variety of customer personalities Able to handle difficult customers without creating unnecessary conflict Positive attitude and dependable work ethic Strong customer service and communication skills Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Basic computer skills; experience with Excel and QuickBooks is a plus Willingness to learn new software, equipment, and processes Creative and helpful when working with customers Previous office, receptionist, customer service, or printing experience is helpful, but we will train Physical Requirements Must be able to lift, carry, or otherwise move 25-50 pounds regularly or occasionally Must be comfortable performing hands-on print finishing tasks Benefits & Compensation Competitive pay based on experience Simple IRA Health insurance is not provided We're looking for someone who works hard, gets along well with others, treats customers respectfully, and enjoys being part of a low-key, drama-free work environment.
