Duties Review and verify title records, public records, and legal descriptions to confirm property ownership and encumbrances Conduct thorough title searches and title reviews using real estate transaction management software and mapping tools Prepare and process all necessary documentation for closings, including easements, rights-of-way, and other legal documents Collaborate with title insurance companies, attorneys, lenders, and clients to facilitate seamless transactions Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and legal requirements during the title processing and closing procedures Perform research on property histories using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and public records to resolve discrepancies Communicate effectively with clients, agents, and stakeholders to provide updates and clarify closing requirements Experience Proven experience in real estate closing management or title processing roles Strong knowledge of real estate law, legal descriptions, easements, rights-of-way, and title review procedures Familiarity with real estate documentation review, including deeds, affidavits, and settlement statements Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and real estate transaction management software; experience with mapping software is a plus Ability to perform detailed research using public records and title records to support accurate closings Knowledge of underwriting guidelines adherence and compliance standards within the real estate industry Excellent client communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented approach to ensure positive experiences during the closing process Join us as a Closer to play a crucial role in delivering successful real estate transactions!
