Overview Join our dynamic team as a Real Estate Clerk and become a vital part of our real estate operations. In this role, you will support the management and processing of real estate transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth property transfers, title searches, and documentation review, contributing to efficient project execution and client satisfaction. Duties Conduct comprehensive title searches by reviewing public records, legal descriptions, and title records to verify property ownership and encumbrances Assist with the preparation and review of real estate documentation including easements, legal descriptions, and transaction records Manage title processing tasks using real estate transaction management software to ensure timely completion of all steps in property transfers Support the underwriting process by adhering to guidelines and reviewing title reports for accuracy and completeness Utilize mapping software and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to create detailed maps for property analysis and right-of-way projects Coordinate with legal teams on title review, easements, and other legal descriptions to ensure compliance with real estate law Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to provide updates on transaction status and resolve any issues promptly Experience Proven experience working in a law office or real estate environment with a focus on title search, document review, or property transactions Familiarity with real estate law principles, legal descriptions, easements, and right-of-way processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes Experience using real estate transaction management software and mapping tools such as GIS or similar platforms Strong research skills for investigating public records and verifying title information Knowledge of title review procedures and underwriting guidelines adherence Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members effectively This role is paid and offers an engaging environment where your attention to detail makes a tangible impact.
