Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hiring Tree Cimber/Lift Operator to join our team. This role involves outdoor work focused on tree care, trimming, and removal using specialized equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety protocols, arborist rigging techniques, and operate bucket lifts and chainsaws efficiently. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on maintaining healthy trees and ensuring safety at all times. Duties Perform outdoor tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety. Operate bucket lifts and other aerial equipment to access high or difficult-to-reach areas of trees safely. Use chainsaws and other hand tools for cutting, trimming, and removing trees or branches. Apply arborist rigging techniques to safely lower large limbs or entire trees during removal processes. Follow strict safety protocols to ensure personal safety and the safety of team members during all operations. Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as lifts and chainsaws to ensure proper functioning. Maintain a clean work environment by removing debris and ensuring tools are stored properly after use. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute tree care projects efficiently. Qualifications Proven outdoor work experience, particularly in tree care or related fields. Knowledge of tree trimming, pruning, and removal techniques. Experience operating bucket lifts, aerial platforms, or similar equipment. Proficiency with chainsaws and familiarity with arborist rigging techniques. Strong adherence to safety protocols and procedures in an outdoor work environment. Ability to work at heights safely and comfortably using appropriate safety gear. Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team. This position is vital for maintaining the health and safety of urban and rural landscapes through expert tree management practices.
