Responsibilities Safely ascend trees using climbing gear, rigging techniques, and bucket trucks to access difficult or tall branches. Perform tree pruning, trimming, and plant care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Execute tree removal operations with precision, including rigging and chainsaw work, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and documenting tree locations and conditions. Operate bucket trucks efficiently for elevated work tasks while adhering to safety standards. Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as lawn care, planting, and general horticultural upkeep. Follow all safety protocols during outdoor work, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and rigging techniques. Qualifications Proven experience in outdoor landscape or arboricultural work with growing expertise in tree care and maintenance. Familiarity with arborist rigging techniques, chainsaw operation, and bucket truck use. Knowledge of tree species identification (dendrology) and plant pruning care. Ability to perform tree removal safely using rigging methods; experience with tree trimming is a plus. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to climbing, rigging, and outdoor equipment operation. Basic knowledge of GIS applications for landscape mapping; familiarity with landscaping or lawn care is advantageous. Prior experience working outdoors in various weather conditions; horticulture or landscape maintenance background preferred.
