What the Job Is Really Like Let's not sugarcoat it: You'll spend most of your day up in a tree, not on the ground You'll work outside in heat, cold, and everything in between It's physical work — climbing, cutting, rigging, and dragging You'll be making real-time calls that affect the safety of your crew and the property around you You'll be tired You'll be sore You'll be expected to show up ready to work every day Job duties include: Climbing and working aloft using rope and saddle techniques, in accordance with ANSI A300 and
