Job Description

Hire Up Staffing is seeking a Rangeland & Natural Resources Management Specialist for a full-time opportunity in Midland, TX . This position is ideal for a natural resources professional with experience in rangeland, wildlife, conservation, land management, or a related field. Job Responsibilities Monitor grazing and land-use activities to ensure compliance with established requirements. Conduct inspections and evaluate rangeland, soil, vegetation, wildlife, and natural resources. Assist with grazing management, stocking rate recommendations, and land stewardship practices. Conduct wildlife surveys and assist with wildlife management and harvest recommendations. Prepare reports, maintain records, and document inspection findings and corrective actions. Work with land users and leaseholders to promote responsible land management practices. Assist with evaluating and coordinating land improvement and conservation projects. Monitor surface activities associated with oil and gas operations and help minimize impacts to land and natural resources. Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies regarding land management, environmental, and regulatory matters. Research regulations and requirements related to land use, conservation, wildlife, and natural resources. Help identify and resolve land-use conflicts while maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders. Assist with planning, budgeting, and implementation of natural resource improvement projects. Travel throughout the region and work outdoors in a variety of conditions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Management, Biology, Wildlife Management, Environmental Science, Rangeland Management, or a related field . Experience in land management, conservation, wildlife, rangeland, or natural resource management preferred. Strong knowledge of natural resource conservation and land stewardship practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to research information, analyze issues, and develop practical solutions. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint . Experience with GIS applications and mapping preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license. Ability to work outdoors around oil and gas operations, pipelines, and other industrial environments. Ability to travel and adjust work schedules as needed. Preferred Experience Master's degree in a related field. Experience with rangeland and wildlife management. Experience working with landowners, leaseholders, government agencies, or regulatory organizations. Knowledge of oil and gas operations and surface land management. Familiarity with West Texas and/or the Trans Pecos region.
