Responsibilities Perform livestock handling and animal husbandry tasks to ensure the health and well-being of farm animals, including feeding, watering, grooming, and monitoring for health issues Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems, and other agricultural equipment with precision and safety Conduct equipment repair, welding, and routine maintenance to keep machinery running efficiently Assist with manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting, loading, unloading supplies, and moving livestock or materials around the farm Oversee irrigation systems and horticultural activities to support crop growth in fields or greenhouses Supervise other team members in daily farm activities ensuring safety standards are met and work is completed efficiently Maintain detailed records of animal health, equipment repairs, maintenance schedules, and safety inspections Qualifications Proven experience in farming or ranching environments with hands-on animal care and equipment operation Supervising experience or leadership skills in managing teams or projects on a farm or ranch setting Proficiency with farm machinery including tractors, power tools, hand tools, and light equipment operation Mechanical knowledge related to agricultural machinery repair and maintenance Familiarity with livestock management practices including animal husbandry and handling techniques Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and effectively Knowledge of safety standards in agricultural production and equipment use Experience with irrigation systems, greenhouse operations, horticulture or growing crops is preferred Strong outdoor work ethic with the ability to adapt to varying weather conditions Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to feed rations or equipment adjustments Join us if you're ready to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment that values your skills in agriculture, animal care, and machinery maintenance.
