Duties Assist in supervising daily farm operations, including crop production and livestock care Operate and maintain a variety of farm machinery such as tractors, forklifts, irrigation systems, and heavy equipment Support animal husbandry activities, ensuring proper animal care, handling, and health management Conduct equipment repairs, welding, and routine maintenance to keep machinery in optimal condition Oversee manual handling tasks and heavy lifting to ensure safety and efficiency during farm activities Implement safety standards across all farm operations, promoting a safe working environment for all team members Assist with irrigation management, greenhouse work, horticulture tasks, and growing operations to optimize yields Requirements Proven experience in farming, agriculture, or related outdoor work environments Supervising experience or leadership skills in a farm setting preferred Ability to operate agricultural machinery including tractors, forklifts, and heavy equipment safely Mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair, maintenance, welding, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) tasks Animal care experience with livestock handling and animal husbandry skills required; equine experience is a plus Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and manual handling procedures Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to farming activities Strong outdoor work ethic with the ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks efficiently Knowledge of irrigation systems, horticulture practices, greenhouse management, and plant growing techniques preferred Excellent hand tool skills along with basic mechanical understanding to support equipment maintenance Embark on a rewarding career where your hands-on skills make a tangible difference!
