Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our Maintenance Division. This role involves diagnosing and repairing irrigation system components including controllers, valves, wiring, piping, sprinkler heads, and backflow preventers. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair irrigation systems Read and interpret zone maps, plans, and schematics Train and support technician trainees as needed Maintain accurate daily documentation (timecards, reports) Provide professional, on-site service to clients across multiple locations Perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (or 6+ months of relevant experience) Solid understanding of irrigation systems and tools Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Strong communication and problem-solving skills Irrigation Technician Certificate
CLCA, CLTI
Conversational Spanish is a plus
Physical Demands:
Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Regular bending, kneeling, digging, and walking Work in outdoor environments, including hot, cold, wet, or uneven conditions
Preferred Experience:
Background in landscaping or irrigation Ability to read blueprints and program complex irrigation timers
