Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Irrigation Pump Station Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing irrigation pump stations and associated equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation of irrigation systems, supporting our commitment to exceptional customer service and system performance. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects including new installation initiatives and ongoing maintenance tasks. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on irrigation pump stations and equipment Troubleshoot system issues using electrical diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes Repair or replace pumps, valves, control panels, and other irrigation system components efficiently Assist with new irrigation system installation projects from site preparation to final testing Conduct excavation work safely for installation or repair purposes Manage automated irrigation control systems to optimize water usage and system performance Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs, system functions, and maintenance procedures to clients Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to pumps, valves, motors, and irrigation equipment Experience with new irrigation system installation projects and ongoing maintenance Knowledge of landscaping principles and soil science relevant to irrigation management Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting of automated control systems Skilled in excavation techniques using hand tools and power tools for installation or repair work Familiarity with irrigation management practices including system troubleshooting and repair projects Ability to deliver exceptional customer service while managing multiple projects effectively Join us in delivering innovative irrigation solutions that keep landscapes lush and healthy!
