Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with a passion for enhancing outdoor spaces. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens and landscapes. This job will require a working interview to prove experience level Duties Install and maintain various types of irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools to dig trenches, set up piping, and build irrigation layouts. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate watering schedules that support plant health. Monitor soil moisture levels and adjust irrigation schedules accordingly to prevent over or under-watering. Provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades to existing irrigation systems based on landscape needs. Maintain accurate records of irrigation system installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems and landscape maintenance. Wet Checks and use of software. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to dig trenches and install various components of irrigation systems efficiently. Familiarity with lawn care practices and the specific watering needs of different plants. Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with irrigation systems. Strong attention to detail to ensure all installations meet quality standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
