Duties Assist with greenhouse setup, maintenance, and cleaning to maintain a clean and efficient workspace Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and water conservation Monitor crop health using plant identification skills and implement pest management strategies, including integrated pest management (IPM) techniques Support greenhouse cultivation activities such as pruning, trimming, planting, and harvesting crops Operate hand tools and gardening equipment safely for land and plant care tasks Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all horticultural activities to ensure consistency and quality Assist with outdoor work tasks like lawn care, garden trimming, landscaping, and farming activities as needed Help manage horticultural teams during busy periods to ensure smooth workflow and productivity Skills Strong knowledge of horticulture principles, including greenhouse cultivation and crop production Experience with irrigation management and agricultural environmental control systems Ability to identify plants accurately and recognize signs of pests or disease Familiarity with plant pest control methods and integrated pest management practices Hands-on experience working outdoors in various weather conditions Basic math skills for measuring inputs and calculating quantities for planting or fertilizing Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Skilled in using hand tools, gardening equipment, and irrigation systems effectively Excellent teamwork skills with managing horticultural teams or collaborating with colleagues Knowledge of land management practices related to farming, landscaping, or gardening Join us in cultivating a vibrant environment where innovation meets sustainability!
