Job Description
Irrigation Technician We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to join our team. If you take pride in your work, enjoy solving problems, and can work independently while delivering quality results, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems. Program, operate, and troubleshoot Hunter, Irritrol, Orbit, and Toro irrigation controllers , including battery-operated units. Install and repair irrigation valves, sprinkler heads, drip irrigation systems, controllers Diagnose and repair irrigation wiring, electrical faults, valves, and controller issues. Read and interpret irrigation maps and create or update irrigation mapping systems as needed. Identify healthy and stressed plant material and make irrigation adjustments to promote proper plant health. Perform system inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance. Accurately document daily work, materials used, and labor through our GPS-based time tracking system. Complete projects independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service. Requirements Minimum 2 years of hands-on irrigation experience . Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems without supervision. Experience programming and operating Hunter, Irritrol, Orbit, and Toro controllers. Knowledge of irrigation wiring, valves, controllers, PVC repair, and drip irrigation systems. Ability to identify healthy and struggling plant material and understand irrigation requirements. Strong attention to detail, organization, and accountability. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. What We're Looking For Dependable, punctual, and ready to work every day.
